‘We learn by doing’, the old age tells us. And in the case of entrepreneurship, you can take that very literally! Becoming a successful entrepreneur involves lots of hard work and learning from your mistake as you progress. There is no magic formula, but following the right lessons can take you a long way.
In Start Grow Sell, Jürgen Ingels reveals the lessons he has learned as a top entrepreneur. He gives concrete, practical tips on how you can take your company to the next level. From your business model to operations, from marketing and sales to human resources and from the composition of your team to the financial structure of your organization.
Using a series of personal anecdotes, Jürgen illustrates his own entrepreneurial story, which did not always go the way he had planned. With this book, he hopes to inspire others, to pass on his passion for entrepreneurship and technology, and to help the budding entrepreneurs of the future to overcome the problems they will inevitably face.
This book is for starting and experienced entrepreneurs, of both small and large companies. For anyone who has obstacles to overcome and wants to grow their business. 50 lessons that will open the eyes of many entrepreneurs, managers and students.
‘Entrepreneurship is like life itself. With windfalls and setbacks. In that respect, everyone can benefit from this book. It has already inspired me. And don’t let age be an excuse for not doing something, “Age doesn’t matter unless you are cheese”. ‘
‘It’s to his credit that Jurgen wishes to share the recipes of his success in 50 inspiring lessons. For those who argue that they cannot set up a company because they don’t see any opportunities, I would say that after reading this book they’ll have to come up with a better excuse.’
‘This new work by Jürgen Ingels contains a complete and rich anthology of extremely useful tips for entrepreneurs, prospective entrepreneurs but also for executives in companies. It is easy to read, feet on the ground, full of passion and based on many personal experiences. For me this work should be compulsory reading in colleges and universities.’
